The Hope Home in Ghana Africa is nearing completion to receive up to 50-orphaned children waiting for their new home. Healthy living conditions are being established as part of the vision for societal transformation in this region.
The final phase includes transforming the old pit latrines on the property into toilet stalls complete with flush waste disposal. A donated well was dug in August 2012, which included a water tank. To bring the water resources to completion plumbing needs to be installed throughout the property, a septic tank needs to be dug, and toilet stalls and shower stalls need to be built.
The total funds needing to be raised are approximately $10,000 to see this to completion. Construction has already begun on digging the pit for the septic system to be installed. We are hoping to move the orphaned children in by May of this year.
